Privacy Policy
Effective: 8 September 2026
This policy explains what SnipTab collects when you visit this site or buy a license, why, and what your choices are. It covers this website and the vault, not the extensions you build from the templates.
In short
We collect the minimum needed to sell and deliver licenses: your purchase email, payment status from Stripe, your license record, and your download history. This site sets no advertising or analytics trackers. Downloading the free sample template collects nothing, and the Build with AI page sends your key and prompt straight to your chosen model provider without them ever reaching us.
1. What we collect and why
- Purchase email: to deliver your license key, send your receipt, and recover access if you lose the key.
- Stripe checkout and payment identifiers: to match a payment to a license and to handle refunds. We never receive your card number.
- License key and activation sessions: to grant vault access and to detect shared or abused keys.
- Download history (which templates, when): shown on your dashboard and used to detect abuse.
- Recovery requests: a one-time token, stored only as a hash, that expires after 15 minutes.
- A truncated network address prefix, kept for up to one hour, to rate-limit activation, recovery, and free-sample downloads.
2. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects the information needed to process your payment under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of payment, the email you entered, and identifiers for the transaction.
3. Cookies
After you activate a license we set one strictly necessary cookie, "vault_session", which keeps you signed in to the vault for up to seven days. It is HttpOnly, sent only over HTTPS, and is deleted when you end your session. We set no third-party, advertising, or analytics cookies.
4. Email
We send transactional emails only: your receipt with the license key, key resends you request, and recovery links you request. We do not send marketing email unless you separately opt in. Emails are delivered through our email provider, Acumbamail.
5. Build with AI (your own API key)
The Build with AI page lets you generate an extension starter using your own model provider account. Your API key and your prompt are sent by your browser directly to the provider you choose (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or Perplexity). The page makes two kinds of request, both of them directly to that provider: one asks which models your key can use, so the list you pick from is your account's rather than ours, and one sends your description to the model you picked. Neither passes through our servers, we never receive them, and we do not log, store, or meter anything about them.
Your key is held in the page for the length of your visit only. It is never written to local storage or a cookie, which is why the page has no "remember my key" option and why reloading clears it. What the provider does with your prompt is governed by their own terms and privacy policy, not this one.
6. Where your data lives and who processes it
Our site and database run on Google Cloud Run and MongoDB Atlas. Stripe processes payments and Acumbamail delivers email. Each of these providers processes data only to provide its service to us.
7. How long we keep it
License records are kept for as long as your license is valid so that you can activate, recover, and download. After a refund or revocation we keep the record for until you ask us to erase it, except records we are required to keep for accounting and tax. You can ask us to delete your data at any time; deleting it ends vault access.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or CCPA may give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of them, email support@nextgenomni.com from your purchase address.
9. Security
Vault sessions are signed, recovery tokens are stored hashed, and all traffic uses HTTPS. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so please keep your license key private.
10. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes and contact
We will post any changes to this policy here with a new effective date. Questions: support@nextgenomni.com.
